What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email, phone, and password (the password is stored hashed). Farm data you enter — animals, batches, fields, harvests, sales, payments, and photos you upload — is stored on our servers so you can use it on phone and web.

If you allow camera or photos, we only receive the files you choose to attach. If you allow location, we use it for farm or field features you request (for example weather). We do not sell location data.

Why we collect it

To run your account, keep farm records, support billing, and provide customer support.

Sharing

We do not sell your farm data. We may use hosting and payment providers who process data only to provide the service. We disclose data if required by law.

How to delete your account

You can delete your own account in the app. We do not delete instantly forever — we use a two-step process:

1. Soft delete (immediate). Sign in on web or phone. Open Profile (web) or Menu → Settings (phone). Choose Delete account and confirm with your password. You are signed out. You cannot sign in again. If you are the business owner, the farm and other users on that business are included.
2. Complete destroy (after 90 days). We keep the soft-deleted records for 90 days so support can restore the account if you ask. After 90 days the account and its farm data are permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered.

To cancel a deletion during those 90 days, contact support from the email you used to register. After 90 days we cannot restore it. Full steps: delete your account. Also see our terms of service.

Security

Access is by login. Data in transit uses HTTPS.

Children

GoFarming is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13.
